Choo-Choo!
MRT is my friend; the commuters are family.
All right, YIKAI had officially decided to take train to school, instead of bus. Bus makes me sick mannn, I mean not really puking-ly sick, but SIAN. The thought of taking bus bores me mannn, and it's really uncomfortable to sit on a bus for 1.5 hours!
Well my point today is, taking mrt right, is fun because you get to observe just so many things!
Once, a lazy guy was leaning on a pole, when the train was packed. and another 3 guys didn't had another thing to hold on to, so they (silly enough) use their kung fu finger to support themselves on the pole the guy was leaning on. After like 2-3 stops, the lazy guy finally gave up and stood properly. Idiot.
Oh, and ytd right, I was walking up the stairs to the platform at Dover. I don't know how or why, but I just know the train was here! I wanted to rush up quickly, but these 2 SP guys in front of me just sauntered up the stairs so I couldn't do anything. Then, they (as retarded as they could be) suddenly realise 'oh the train is here!' and ran all the way up. Hurray! But immediately after they squeezed into the train, the train door closed, and I was shut outside, alone. Damn it. But GYM is fair altogether, another train came like within 1 min which probably consisted half the amount of people as compared to the previous one. Yay, cool air-con and seats and a bunch of commuters who probably suffered the same fate as me.
And the best of all: I was heading towards the escalator to wait for the green train, at Outram. Guess what, I was surprised to see everyone leaning towards the left of the travelator, and I'm not just talking about 5 pple, there were like someone on each step. People forming a straight line, in Singapore! Wad were all the complains in so many forums about, anyway? Miracles do happen.
By the way!
Visited NYJC today :D
Shirley, my new classmate who was transferred from NYJC, wanted to visit her frens so I kaypoh-ly tagged along.
Anyway, I think the school looked damn nice! Would love to study there, but I must be contented with SP la huh. Saw lotsa 4Fantabulous-ers, and Keqin! But I didn't get to see so many other frens leh...

24th Apr: One week gone!
*stretch arms, open mouth, yawwwnnnn!!
oh, pretty unknowingly, first week in SP had gone with the wind. anyway, I thought I had blogged on tuesday or wednesday leh, only until 30 seconds ago I was at my blog, that I saw that the last post was on Monday. but, does it matter?
Anyway, I definitely didn't make good use of Thursday - the free day - just slacked. At least do something useful, right? haiya, damn it, I vow I would never slack on Thursday ever again, but I'm pretty sure I won't, with the (should be would have) projects or homeworks.
The point today is, I met Pearl and Hx for dinner at pepper lunch today! OOOOhhhh, I miss both of them, it had been realllll long since we last met, even like before school starts, we also very long never meet la. Talked a lot, gossiped a lot, ate a lot, laughed a lot and blah.
Oh right, tmr I think I'll have tuition with my cousin, and then now I'd do my journal or something. No slacking, period.

20th April: First lesson in SP!

20th April: First lesson in SP!
Today was my first lesson in SP!
First up, we had introduction to voice with claire devine!
She's kinda strict, I'd say, unlike the past instructors I had, but nah, she's still nice.
Anyway, started off with warm-up game CAT AND MOUSE. believe it? oh yea, warm up game for lessons. oh, not the link hands which ELDDS loved, but the run from walls to walls one, which ELDDS quite liked, too.
And I had to do the mind map for the class, as in simply writing on the board laaaaaa. When she started emphasising on what was missing on the 'voice' mind map, I thought about 古老师 who really focused on the way you stand. So I was thinking of standing or posture, but it sounded like no link right! So I just didn't say. haha!
Followed by a 3 hours break, *yawwnnn. So a few of us went to moberly and tabao from FC3. The milkshake was nice, don't you just love honeydew?! Went to main library and chat, and then back to moberly again to play pool.
Next up, devised drama lesson with, erm, Su. Did the walking around thing, which (in fact) all instructors had done, like Sam, Nicole, Mark etc. It's like the same la, but this time, ha! much noisier.
The videos she showed us, was pretty, hmmm, intriguing, though. And did a improv skit after that.
Cool.
By the way, I currently have 3 routes to go home but I don't know which one is the best. Experiment begins this week.
Route 1: take bus 74 la.
Route 2: take green line, then change to purple line, alight at hougang, take bus 72 home.
Route 3: take green line, then change to red line, alight at yio chu kang, take bus 72 home.

19th April: Get ready for School!
Oh right, school is starting tomorrow and I'm excited! I can't wait to be useful, rather than rotting at home during the hols. At least I get to gain more knowledge and insert something more interesting into my mind, right!
anyway, I'm intrigued by what we're gonna learn! And for now, we'd be taking 6 modules, namely:
Effective Interpersonal Communication
Introduction to Voice
Introduction to Applied Drama
Devised Drama
Introduction to Psychology
Introduction to Lifespan Psychology
cooooool! The very first lesson is intro to VOICE, and I'm pretty scared. I dno how to use diaphragm to speak! arhhhhhh... But anyway, that's why we have to learn it wad. Yet saying that I'm not nervous is a lie!
Oh, and here are the photos for flagday + party night!
Bedok int :)
On our way back to Dover, SP!

Crazy!

This was taken on Tuesday, at MLT 8! with Carin :)

Grab an award; Catch a SYF performance!
( 2:57 PM )
Grab an award; Catch a SYF performance!
SO where did I stop yesterday? lol!!
oh I was supposed to go out after lunch or something, but luckily I didn't because I was sooooo tired from the lack of sleep and muscle aches from dancing mannnn. *I dno why, but more of the aches came from the shoulders!
So I went home and slept for an hour, and then hurried, tiredly and sleepily, to NCHS, for prize-giving ceremony/ school anni. Saw lotsa 4Fantabulous-ers and juniors :)
After the entire ceremony ends etc, the kaisu four of us rushed down to the canteen to grab some free buffet. The food wasn't very good, but aiya, it doesn't matter. Then, when the rest of the group came down, we began cam whoring at the quadrangle WOAH. Took lotsa great photos, and then followed by chill out at KFC. I didn't eat anything, since I ate the free buffet, so just shared a drink with Shermin (who was also one of the kaisu 4).
Cracked lotsa jokes! and played lotsa zip-zap-related games, u know like passing 'energy' around a circle etc. Then returned home quite late.
Woke up early in the morning to follow CLDDS to ACJC for their SYF. The performance began at 1pm, but the team aimed to reach at around, hmmmm, 9 - 10 like that to do the make-ups. which we didn't have enough time, actually!
Watched 5 schools, including NCHS, performed.
The first play was North Vista, directed by Liu Lao Shi! Very much of his style mannn, but although the story was good, it was quite errrrrr uncomfortable to watch. I really didn't know why, but I wouldn't say it wasn't good. Then it was our school's, and I thought it went well! Next, which I thought was the best, was by ACS's (a team of guys), whose play touched me but I thought the front part of the story was redundant, though funny la! Then the fourth, can't rmb the school again, but arh, I hate that style (the playing of video to resemble flashback). I thought the story was not to my liking either. Hmmm the last one was, errrr, ok la. It's kinda of a pity, that in some scenes, rather than making the audience cry or wadeva, it created laughter.
Oh by the way, some school students you just don't know how to shut up when other teams were performing. And it's always this school, last year when I went another competition, the school's students basically had some comments about every team. Noisy like hell, next time please leave your gossipy lips behind before coming. To think I evn said your school's performance was the best amongst. tsk!
So, then after that ate at 7-11 with cf, then went home. Slept at home, rather than going to my MaMa's house, with my sis and mom. haha!

Get Fresh!
heeee...
ARRRRRRRRR! I haven't blogged for a weeeeeeek, mannnnn!
Anyway, let's see...
For all CASS students, SP's orientation had begun on Tuesday, with a bang! woohoo.
Tuesday:
I was absolutely late laaaaa, the traffic was damn slow. By the time we reached MLT 8, we were pretty late, but pple were still streaming in. And then ar, during lunch, I sat with Jill, Leon, Jeremiah and Skyne/Sky wadeva. And then a few of us gathered around and talked and did our cheer!
Here comes the fun part, we had to play the game called 'race against time', that is to run around the school under the scorching sun from places to places, for like hmmm 1+hours maybe?! It's like treasure hunt/amazing race kinda thing. Our facils kept asking us to run! Then later we heard from our frens, they didn't run at all, no wonder the DADPs came in so early LOL. the funniest thing is not running, but jieying our senior kept calling Leon smiley boy, and almost every time say, "ok stop smiling, hurry let's go!" HAHAHA!! damn funny la!
Here are the photos we took!

And guess what?
DADP 01 game in first :)
then DADP 02 got 2nd :)
Then after which was the drawing lots of which class go where do the flag day, and we got 'reach at 7am at Bedok.'
*
Thursday:
Here's where all tiring part begins, and all the way till Saturday.
Here's where all tiring part begins, and all the way till Saturday.
So, woke up at 5 something (like what?!) and took bus to Bedok. Despite being usually unpunctual, I was the 2nd to reach! then blah blah blah and blah came... So flag day begins! It was damn embarrassing at first, and I didn't know how to ask pple for money. but imperceptibly, I got more courageous, and zipped up the extra layer of thick skin.
"Hi, would you like to help?"
"Hello, this is the president's challenge, would you like... (by this time the coin is already in the tin)"
The funniest thing? Hmm, got this auntie said, as she took out her coins, "president very rich already leh!"
And haha, once, I was walking towards this uncles, stretching my arms to show him the tin/can, and I tripped on this hump on the pavement, so he got a shock and took a step back! haha! Like I'm forcing him like that, but in the end he also never donate tsk.
*
Wah, this flag day ar, really made me feel like slapping all those who didn't donate, the worse ones are those who just walked passed you like you are wearing Harry Potter's invisibility cloak, at least just wave your hands politely right!
I'm so gonna donate $$$$$ the next time, I promise!
Then after that, was party time !! The party begun with 2 live bands (cool!), and then games and prizes, which got quite draggy and boring. But at dno wad time, the party began and everyone went crazy!!!
Old frens are not gonna believe chngyikai danced for 2 hours straight!! But DADP 01 are made up of crazy hyper eccentric party girls and boys that I cant resist not joining the dance! We were stupid enough to dance right beside the speaker laaaaaaaa. Yet that's why it's electrifying. When we got out, we could barely hear ourselves speaking, but after a while we recovered, and were laughing and chatting on our way home.
Friday:
Had SPICE training at 9am, which means, wake up at 0630. Wah damn early leh, and hor next time most of my lesson would start at 8am, which means, can you count? 0530 wake up. but, wadeva.
I was, hmm just 3 min late, but already one of the earliest. When I walked into the room, saw computers everywhere, and I thought I was an idiot to bring laptop laaaa! Then I asked Leon and Sebas (who came earlier la!) if they got bring or not, and turned out everyone did.
The SPICE training, as literally everyone had said, was *yawnnnn boring. But aiya, it'd probably never be boring, when you're in a class like DADP 01. Because, almost the entire class was talking in the MSN conversation. A lot of funny things happened, like Shafarie's sudden outburst of laughter, and beatrice asking whether YIKAIII was a guy or girl. HAHA! aiya and many others also la!
*
So after which, was lunch at FC4, and I ate the chap cai beng. It wasn't very nice la, but ok la. And then went home, and then whatever that's happening next up till saturday would be on the next post. LOL!
-THE END-
Perhaps, you would be next.
Monday, April 13, 2009 ( 8:41 PM )
Perhaps, you would be next.
School's starting tmr! :D
Of course, thoughts are swirling in my mind like crazy~~
And guess what I did for the last day of my holiday? Basically, I spend the whole day playing this new game on miniclip.com some ninja game DAMN FUN, and even watching The Devil Wears Prada recorded version, even though I watched the film at the theatre, the DVD twice, and even yesterday's telecast. LOL! So, that's no the point. The point is, beginning of a brand new something is... hmmm exciting, and definitely nerve-racking, too! And it's quite emo-ish too... How to say.
I have damn so many questions in my mind, that no one can ever answer. So many that it had begun to form a big hole, waiting only to be filled with answers from the future.
What would be the next big thing we would do for someone else?
A birthday surprise, perhaps.

Where would we hold our very first outing or gathering?
Mind Cafe, perhaps.

What would be the most impromptu thing we would do?
Everyone having Macdonalds, perhaps.

What stupid, ridiculous but hilarious idea would one or two of my new classmates have?
Hiding in a classroom, perhaps.

When would be the next time I would be prized with the chance of being the chairperson?
2009/ 2010/ 2011, perhaps.
And... what would the next picture remind me about?
The finger-crossing...
The laughter...
The memories...
Perhaps...

But maybe not.

What would be next?
Fill me in, SP. Fill me in :)

11th April: I need a cup of warm water, thank you.
hahahahahaha! my hair so funny :)
heeee, oy, it's a wig all right, so for those who hadn't seen me for long, don't worry I still have that hair u rmb.
btw, that was the hair wig which queena used during SYF :)
*
Anyway, I'm so angry. tsk.
You know, yesterday (好星期五!) I had tuition with my cousin and every week I'd give her this exercise of 6-8 questions that focus on drawing diagrams. There are 3 such exercises so far, and I decided to give her a small test next week, based on the 3 exercises.
But I need to bring the 3 stacks of exercises home first, so that I can find 10 questions out to test her. So, I intended to return her the 3 stacks today, so she can revise for the test through out this week. Tsk, and my mom so nice say want to go their house pass to them. But my aunt, who's my cousin's mom la, say very mafan, and say never mind another day then pass to them. and said, "她拿到了也不会 revise 的啦!"
*
GET IT GET IT? Argh. Now we all know why her daughter did badly right! It's the entire attitude!
That's why must pass even earlier wad, because pass to her so she can revise earlier right! I'm putting in sooooooooooo much fucking ^*#&%^^@# effort for this non-profit tutoring, which I actually quite enjoy btw, but I can only feel so, when you and you 配合! It's quite frustrating to think about that, because I'm quite sure she'd get the 3 stacks on monday the earliest, which leaves her like 4/5 days of school days to revise. I'm sure she has homework to do, that's why I'm already quite sure she's gonna fail the upcoming test. So much for my hard graft!
*
Who's benefiting at the end of the day anyway?
-THE END-
*
Yet, perseverance and sincerity is the key, so all I need is a cup of warm water, first. Zen.
Fifty-Three !
Wednesday, April 08, 2009 ( 3:10 PM )
Fifty-Three !
yeah! on 7th April, my mom turned 53 woohoo :) There was a string of happening events, which incldues 2 meals!
First up, on Friday (3rd Apr), we went out with the intention of going to JUMBO for a crab feast. But my sister was.. hmmm... 20 min late? and by then it was very late so we gave up the idea and visited Kovan's thai eatery, nakhon kitchen.
This is really yummy!
Then on sunday (5th apr) we went down to thomson for dim sum. The place was really hot and dirty, but the food was really good man! But no pictures :(
And on 7th Apr itself, I stayed home with mommy to spend the day with her! I acc her home when she went hougang point, and I went to get a birthday cake. Of course, not the surprise kind of cake, come on la, who else looks into the fridge more than a wife does? So she got to choose the cake. My mom's fav is usually mango cake or some fruity fruity cake. But the fruits in prima looks... bleh. So we got a chocolate cake, which turned out to be my favourite! LOL. I love chocolate cake, dno wad the other flavours of cakes were for...
When we got back from NTUC/hg pt, I cooked for my mom egg mee sua! That's the tradition mannn. But then, as we all know, I only got b3 for home econs, so ya, I only boil the water and throw in the carrots, and hmmmm that was all that I did...
And the night's meal was really sumptuous. Mommy got 3 crabs from NTUC, and they are named Tom, Dick and Harry.
Mee Tom, Dick and Harry!
Thing is, eating crab is really really done in a cruel way. First, you find the triangle on the crab's tummy, and at the tip of the triangle, position your chopstick and hit the chopstick hard, with an object, right through the crab's heart. Don't cry...

See? And it's not instant death.
So about 10 min later, the crab starts to produce bubbles and shortly after, they lose all their strengths and die.
At around 615, I went down to the coffee shop and got a fried chicken! Hmmm, the meal looks really unhealthy ya!
Later that night, at 950pm. We took the cake out and yay!
Together with white wine YUMMY.
Getting ready for photo taking :)
