45th Golden Horse Award

姐姐，祝您生日快乐，心想事成。LOL!

ok, back to me. hmmm, catch 45th golden horsey award yesterday. Well to begin with, the main fight was between Cape No.7 (9 nominations) and The Warlords (12 nominations), and unlike last year, there was already a clear winner (Lust Caution). So, Cape No.7 walked away with quite a number of awards in the beginning, leading people to think that Cape No.7 is the victor, but nope, annual best motion picture and best director still goes to The Warlords. Hmm, I didn't really watch the full of The Warlords, because I think I was having exams while my mom watched the dvd in the living room, but I managed to catch parts of here and there. Thought it was a not bad film thou, kinda of moving at the end, sobs.

Cape No.7 and The Warlords, are two completely different films. Different genre, different style and from different country. As much as I can recall, they were barely fought in the same nominations. So not much of a climax.

Congrats to Cape No.7 which got a few small awards, like the best supporting actor, best original music, best original song and most welcomed film etc. they had 2 actors nominated in the best new actor award, but lost it anyway.

The best actor/actress award was no climax mann, for me only maybe. Because I hardly know most of them. For Best Actor, I really thought Jet Li would get it or the film could make it to becoming the next 色戒，but nope, 张涵予《集结号》 upsets Jet Li by taking home the Best Actor award. 《集结号》, a china film, was lets say the third biggest film of the night, keep appearing in this and that nominations but phew, they managed to bring home a best actor (and also the best adapted screenplay), thou.

As for Best Actress, the climax was wayyyyyy low. because the nominees are people from small films laaaa, got one film only had one nomination here. really fortunately, 刘美君《我不卖身，我卖子宫》got it! The one and only chance of getting a golden horse this year for the film!

Alright, the golden horsey award this year is over, and I can't wait to watch the next year one alr! wonder wad big huge large film would come up next yr.
