New computer

YAYY! i'm loving my new computer! let's hope it won't break down so quickly. and this is the first time my house ever owned a brand new computer. last but not least, this computer (unsurprisingly~) has paint! seized the chance to make my first painting!

and there's this acer game zone, which brings u to online games like cake mania, diner dash (OMGGG!). and i learnt about this game about wad pizza de la. wahhhhh so fun la. aiya, but i was simply playing the DEMO, so they'd probably stop me from the game suddenly sooner or later. damn. and yes, there's this column at the sides of ur desktop that allows u to put many things la. ranging from stock market & weather to picture slideshow & notes for your family. and and and the CPU is so small that i can simply bring it to school (together with my other book i meant!) wahhhhh. am i being an idiot and all these had already appeared on ur com years ago? wadeva it is la, at least i nv see b4 mah. oh yes, special thanks to my cousin, ah pang gor gor, for taking time out from 6+ to 9pm to help set up the com for us. weeeeee! oh yes, all of u look extremely fat and short in this screen. so ya, send me ur pics! muahahahahahaha!

school has reopen and kindly invited all their students back to their respective institution. FYI, mine's a WORLD-CLASS institution, and i am so proud of it that i go around showing off my uniform and its shiny buttons~
LOL.
for me, it didn't start off too well. ok, we all know why and you know why too. besides, the a-bit-sudden lack of CCA really sianed me out. so little things to look forward to for the day, except going home and start studying for the test for the next day. ooh, how exciting!
so, the search for the next pussycats dolls results are out! and they decided to only use 5 hot babes (including one who somehow looked like a man) instead. care to see? come over to 4F classroom for an exclusive view of the photo. and that photo was the only joke in 4F so far, which we managed to make XX, chee wai, kar whee and Ai Ping jie laughed.
so ya that's about all la. byebye.

I love taking photos

i love taking photos! of people, of sceneries blah blah blah. tat explains why i also take a camera along with me whenever there's an outing.
well, i think because photos permit me to stop time. allowing me to stay at that particular moment that i'd enjoyed so much. today, i didn't do anything once i reached home, but flipped through my photo folders that reminded me of the times i had. and here are some of my personal favourites, some were taken by Mr. Red or Mr. Fatty, some were edited, some have special effects, some were candid shots. oh, you may not like them, but I DO.

WATB&co. meets the FISH&co.

on 17th june it was, that we met at fish&co. restaurant at ps, aka the glass house. to summarise, there were gossips, food, camwhore & noisy live band.

so, me anna ph wy vin met at dg xchange and went to fish&co. to wait for sheena and shufen, who had school i think. so waited for mayb abt half an hr or so, and we even finished choosing wad to eat, & began to complain tat we're starving. oops, shhhhhh.
so we ate and gossiped. but thanks to the awful and LOUD singer from the live band, we had to raise our voice to speak. then 5 of us ate desserts which was extremely filling.
so we paid, and the person realised there were some errors in the money we paid. not to worry, we simply gave tooooo much. after receiving the large amounts of change, we wondered what went wrong, but somehow pinhui suddenly realised her wallet was empty! and that was what went wrong. heeee.

so, went out, after the yummy yummy meal, to the huge LOVE sign. took lots of photos with it. also, helped to take photos for another grp of pple ya. not forgetting how we stood beside the LOVE and waved like lunatics to the buses that went past. well, since this is Singapore, there were many friendly commuters who waved back happily back at us. heeee.

so, we walked over to the restaurant, Giraffe, which at the Istana Park. took photos at the 'fountain' or pool of water. once, we even asked a lady to help us take a group photo for us. only to realise after she pressed the button, the camera was on set on timer! lol! laughed a bit for 10secs and once the camera was about to take a photo of us, everyone stopped laughing and smiled. fast reaction huh, becoz we're from ELDDS. the lady was nice, and she laughed at us too!

so, took the underpass to the dg mrt station and still, couldn't resist the temptations to take photos. found a wonderful wonderful background and took quite some time for photos. ok, i shall let the photos do the talking another day!

so, i believe the next WATB&co. meeting wud be after the o's. oooh, that's still a long way to go, but i know it'd pass real quickly. hope liting and carmen will make it the next time ya. had a hell lot of fun on 17th june ya! see ya guys sooooon!!

great! i love this show. it brought back so many memories. probably the first movie i've catched with any of my high school mates. well, they are lishan, yanqing, yan lin, meilian. haha. really really funny to watch this, remebered how we laughed blah blah blah. oh what can i say.

not forgetting the awesome background settings and visual effects!

here we go, let's take a trip along this chocolate river. besides, there's still this willy wonka chocolate, to know how it looks like, please go to my 16th july post. heeee.

thought this would be nice to share. haha!
in the 19th century, Victorian dresses were basically the only women dressing, meaning to say, Victorian women only wear such dresses.

for your information, it's extremely tight! boned bodice, which emphasise the small waists of women, made women difficult to breathe. Thus, also explaining the pale and frail looks on these women. some dresses also have narrow sleeves, which restricts women's arms movement. such Victorian dresses also explains the design of your wedding gowns.

enough of explanations, Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel, also known as the 'creator' of the current brand : Chanel.

Chanel thought those Victorian dresses restricts women from doing things, such as sports, going to beaches (which was very popular at that time). So, Paul Poiret REMOVED boned bodice (i think that's what u call it). BUT the dress was still no much difference from the actual Victorian dresses, just that women can finally breathe. SO, Chanel designed and introduced totally new clothes ranging from no-collar tops to pant suits. She believes in simplicity. She took the plunge, threw away colours and brought in - black. which then became a trend in the 1920s.

no more suffocating Victorians dresses! thanks to Coco Chanel.

A Moment To Remember

specially stayed up late on friday nite to catch this. i can't believe i actually asked other people to watch a korean show. hai, well i'm nv a fan of such shows. they like cry non-stop one can.

BUT NO! this movie is DIFFERENT!

eh, i also donno how different isit. but i think its very nice. the movie 'moves' really slowly (korean show what), but the time passes realy quickly. lol! well, the girl gt Alzheimer's disease, so she will start forgetting everything slowly. blah blah blah...
